The Exhibition in the House of Mr Clutterbuck

The exhibition in the House of Mr Clutterbuck is based on the production of the beloved illustrator Mauri Kunnas' four books, the first is the "The Canine Kalevala", the second is the "The Tails of King Arthur anf the Knights of the Round Table", the third is "Space of All Times" and the fourth is "Doghill Kids go to Town". The exhibition, imitating the brilliantly coloured illustrations of Mauri Kunnas, is filled with delightful and humorous details. The visitor will experience an itensive exhibition with sound effects and tangible figures. In the same premise there is also a gallery, a shop and a tourist information.
The Canine Kalevala
The story is based on the time, long ago, when the world was still young. In the far-off land of Kalevala dwelt a tribe of wild and woolly dogs. Their neighbour in the gloomy north was a pack of mean and wicked wolves. Between them lived a small but tough clan of cats. The dogs and wolves vied for sovereignty of the forests, and this often gave rise to some pretty fierce squabbles. In the exhibition children are able to jump in to the giant Antero Vipunen's mouth.
King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table
The story is a feline mythology out of the medieval legends. Arthur is the High Cat-King of Logres. It is the ancient world of daring exploits and damsels in distress. In the exhibition children are able to try on ancient style clothing.
Doghill Kids Go to Town
In the old town you can get an idea of living in a Finnish town in the 19th century when you put on role costumes and walk through the market place and watch puppet show. You can pop in the pharmacy, general store or shoe maker, or, even more fun, you can sell or buy merchandise with wooden coins or repair shoes yourself!

Space of All Times
We are far away on the 31st century. Just take your shoes off before jumping on the planet surface. Don’t forget to put on space suit, helmet and oxygen bottles, even the space worms have small helmets on this space! Busdriver Clutterbuck takes you on a space trip in the red space bus and professor Buckenheim tells you about planets during the flight. Countdown begins!
